Your manager would love to assume things are done, but often they aren’t, so that’s one more thing you are forcing them to remember to follow up on.
Want to be highly thought of. Confirm upstream when things are done that you have been asked to do or have volunteered to do.
Otherwise, it’s in the ether and the ether is where potential advancement goes to die.
