01 / The assignment
  • Website and local search
  • High-intent paid search
  • Salesforce to HubSpot
  • Inside-sales team and routing

Referrals remained valuable. The assignment was to add a demand system around them, not replace the relationships that built the business.

HRS worked in fire damage, water damage, mold remediation and disaster restoration. Its relationships with insurers and property managers supplied an established referral network. The original engagement account describes the need for an additional, more manageable source of demand alongside that network. This was not simply a paid-search assignment. A prospective customer needed to find the appropriate service, understand why HRS could help and reach a team able to act. The remit therefore connected the website and local visibility with CRM migration, qualification and the creation of an inside-sales function.

02 / The work

Build the response path, not just the lead source.

01 / DiscoveryMeet the need at the moment it becomes urgent.

The website work gave restoration services clearer destinations and put emergency contact paths alongside trust signals. Local search work covered business profiles, service-specific keywords, citations and technical search foundations. Paid search focused on people actively looking for restoration help rather than treating all website traffic as equally useful.

02 / ContinuityMove the relationship into a usable system.

The Salesforce-to-HubSpot migration was part of simplifying the operating environment. Marketing automation, shared pipeline visibility and lead information belonged in the same working context. The commercial question was what the team could do with an inquiry, not simply whether a new CRM had been installed.

03 / OwnershipPut people behind the handoff.

The published scope includes creation of an inside-sales representative function: proactive prospecting, qualification, appointment setting and performance tracking. Routing and scoring distinguished emergency from non-emergency interest. The inside-sales team qualified and arranged appointments; the business-development team handled closing. Follow-up kept colder opportunities from becoming forgotten records.

Inside the operating idea

One business. Different kinds of urgency.

HRS RestorationIllustrative reconstruction / not a live system
IncomingAn urgent restoration inquiry

Service relevance and contact details establish what the customer needs. Urgency changes the next action; it should not disappear inside an undifferentiated lead count.

AssignedAn inside-sales owner

Routing turns an inquiry into an accountable task. Qualification and appointment setting give the next person a usable conversation rather than an unreviewed form submission.

DevelopingA longer-horizon opportunity

Non-emergency prospects need an appropriate follow-up path. The account describes automated nurture alongside proactive inside-sales activity, not one identical treatment for every inquiry.

VisibleA shared view of the pipeline

Lead source, qualification and next action belong together. That makes a marketing result more useful to the team responsible for turning interest into work.

03 / What changed

Add a channel. Keep the trust.

The original account reports higher lead volume and improved lead quality while the referral network remained in place. It also describes faster response supported by the new CRM and lead-management process. Those outcomes sit alongside a broader operating contribution: a website, acquisition channels and a team with more explicit responsibilities.

The decision that mattered

A digital buildout did not require abandoning insurance and property-management referrals. The useful distinction was between established relationship demand and an additional acquisition system. Both needed a competent response once the inquiry arrived.

The lasting lesson is not that restoration demand becomes perfectly predictable. It is that acquisition and response have to be designed together. More inquiries create value only when someone can recognize the need, own the next action and carry the conversation forward.
